HydroProof

HydroProof is a mobile + web app that helps people and small businesses validate what’s actually in their drinking water and whether their hydration products are worth it. Users scan a water report (municipal PDF), a filter model, or a bottled water label, then the app normalizes the data into a simple “what this means for you” view (taste, hardness, sodium, fluoride, nitrates, PFAS where available). It also lets users log symptoms/preferences (metallic taste, dry skin, kidney stone risk flags) and compares options: tap as-is, common filters, or specific bottled waters. The app is brutally practical: it won’t pretend to replace lab testing, and it clearly marks unknowns and outdated reports. Revenue comes from subscriptions for advanced comparisons, household profiles, and exportable “water brief” reports for renters, parents, and fitness-focused users.
