HydroReceipt

HydroReceipt is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that helps people verify and compare bottled water and refill-station water using evidence, not marketing. Users scan a barcode or upload a label photo to get a structured “water receipt”: source, treatment method, reported mineral profile, testing frequency, and any red flags (vague sourcing, missing disclosures, outdated reports). It also tracks hydration, but the core value is trust and transparency—especially for people spending real money on “premium” water. The app pulls public documents where available (brand water quality reports, municipal CCRs, retailer listings) and lets users store receipts for recurring purchases. It’s realistic: many brands won’t have perfect data, so the app clearly grades confidence and shows what’s unknown. Monetization: subscription for advanced comparisons, household profiles, and alerts when a brand changes sourcing or reports.
