IAChangelog

IAChangelog is a web app (with optional Figma plugin) that helps teams document and review information architecture changes as a first-class workflow, not an afterthought. It connects to your sitemap, navigation schema, and key page templates, then creates a versioned “diff” whenever labels, hierarchy, URLs, or routing rules change. Each diff prompts lightweight rationale fields (why, expected impact, affected audiences) and routes the change for review by UX, content, SEO, and engineering. It also flags common IA risks: orphaned pages, inconsistent naming, duplicate categories, depth creep, and broken cross-links. The goal is not to “auto-design” IA, but to prevent silent drift during redesigns, agile iterations, and M&A content merges. Exports include release-note-ready summaries and tickets for Jira/Linear. Realistically, it wins by being boring, auditable, and easy to adopt in existing workflows.
