IdentityTriage

IdentityTriage is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that sits beside your EHR and MPI to detect, prioritize, and resolve patient identity duplicates and overlays. It ingests ADT/HL7 v2 and FHIR Patient feeds, runs deterministic rules plus lightweight AI-assisted matching, and produces a daily work queue ranked by financial and clinical risk (e.g., upcoming surgery, high-cost claims, recent ED visit). The app guides registrars and HIM staff through a step-by-step merge/unmerge workflow with audit trails, evidence snapshots, and policy checks, then pushes the resolution back to the source systems via supported interfaces. It also measures root causes (registration site, shift, clerk, data field) so leaders can reduce duplicate creation rather than endlessly cleaning it up. This is not a magic “one-click” MPI replacement; it’s a pragmatic triage and workflow layer.
