IdleGuard is a web + mobile app for commercial fleets that pinpoints costly engine idling and turns it into enforceable, driver-specific actions. It connects to existing telematics providers (or simple GPS pings if that’s all you have) and produces an “idle bill” by vehicle, route, site, and driver shift, translating idle minutes into fuel dollars, CO2, and maintenance impact. Dispatchers and fleet managers get alerts when idling spikes at customer sites, yards, or during warm-up periods, and can push policy reminders or coaching notes to drivers. The AI layer clusters recurring idle hotspots and suggests rule changes (e.g., geofenced idle thresholds at specific depots) and identifies “false idle” patterns caused by sensor quirks.
