IdleSpark

IdleSpark is a web app with a lightweight mobile companion for fleet managers and depot supervisors to prevent EV charging bottlenecks. It ingests vehicle telematics (state of charge, ETA, next route), charger status (availability, faults), and depot constraints (power limits, shift schedules) to generate a practical charging plan that actually matches operations. The system flags “will-miss-route” risks hours ahead, recommends swaps (which vehicle should take which charger and when), and sends simple driver prompts (plug in now, move at X time). It also tracks charger reliability and highlights repeat offenders (cables, connectors, specific stalls) so maintenance is prioritized by operational impact, not guesswork. This is not a glossy dashboard; it’s a daily execution tool designed to reduce downtime, overtime, and dispatch chaos as fleets scale from a few EVs to dozens.
