IFUQuick is a mobile + web app that helps hospitals and clinics access the correct, current Instructions for Use (IFU) for medical devices in seconds—without hunting through vendor portals or outdated PDFs on shared drives. Staff scan a device label or enter a catalog number and instantly get the latest approved IFU, quick-start steps, contraindications, and required accessories. The system maintains a controlled document library with version history, site-specific favorites, and offline caching for low-connectivity areas like ORs. It also supports internal “local addenda” (e.g., hospital-specific cleaning steps) with approval workflows so teams don’t create unsafe shadow SOPs. This is a traditional app with light AI: AI is used only to extract structured sections from manufacturer PDFs and to power fast semantic search, while the displayed IFU remains the source-of-truth document.
