ImpactDraft

ImpactDraft is a web app (with optional desktop export tools) that helps policy teams design, compare, and stress-test policy options using structured assumptions and lightweight modeling. Users define a policy goal, target population, constraints, and implementation levers, then create multiple “draft variants” with explicit assumptions (cost drivers, compliance rates, enforcement capacity, equity impacts). The app generates side-by-side impact briefs, risk registers, and implementation checklists, and keeps an audit trail of who changed what and why. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps turn messy notes into structured policy components, suggests missing considerations (e.g., enforcement bottlenecks, unintended incentives), and drafts plain-language summaries for stakeholders. It does not pretend to “solve” policy; it makes reasoning transparent, comparable, and reviewable so teams can move faster without hiding uncertainty.
