ImpactLedger is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for economic development teams to track whether tax incentives, grants, and workforce programs actually produce promised outcomes. It centralizes deal terms (jobs, wages, capex, timelines), ingests evidence (payroll summaries, public filings, site visits, utility usage, vendor receipts), and produces an audit-ready scorecard per project. A lightweight AI layer extracts obligations from PDFs, flags missing documentation, and drafts plain-language updates for councils and the public. The app focuses on the unglamorous reality: most teams live in spreadsheets, compliance is inconsistent, and reporting is painful. ImpactLedger makes compliance workflows repeatable, reduces “where’s the proof?” disputes, and creates a defensible record when projects underperform. It also supports portfolio-level views so leaders can see which programs generate the best ROI and which are political liabilities.
