ImpactLedger

ImpactLedger is a web app (with a lightweight browser extension) that builds a defensible, audit-friendly “impact dossier” for a researcher, lab, or grant. It pulls citations, policy mentions, clinical guideline references, patents, software/package usage, dataset reuse, and public engagement signals into one timeline, then normalizes them by field and career stage. The AI layer classifies each signal (e.g., “policy influence” vs “news noise”), flags suspicious spikes, and generates a short narrative summary with sources attached—useful for promotion packets and grant reporting. The brutally honest angle: it won’t magically increase your h-index; it just reduces the time wasted assembling evidence and helps you avoid embarrassing, unverifiable claims. Teams can collaborate, assign evidence requests, and export to common formats used by universities and funders.
