ImpactPledge

ImpactPledge helps faith communities and individual donors track whether a charity actually does what it claims—without turning giving into a cynical spreadsheet. It’s a web + mobile app where users can create “pledges” (e.g., 10% to local hunger relief) and then choose vetted organizations based on transparent outcomes, budgets, and governance signals. The app aggregates public filings (where available), publishes plain-language summaries, and lets donors request lightweight updates from charities (photos, receipts, short impact notes) tied to specific campaigns. It also supports group giving circles for small groups, youth groups, and congregations, with shared goals and periodic check-ins. This is not a replacement for generosity; it’s a tool to reduce waste, fraud, and donor fatigue by making follow-through visible and easy. Realistically, many charities won’t provide perfect data—so the product must work even with partial information.
