InboxFence

InboxFence is a web app (with optional desktop add-on) that sits between your email and the outside world to reduce sales spam and unwanted follow-ups without breaking real conversations. It creates unique, revocable “contact addresses” for each vendor, newsletter, or signup, then automatically routes, labels, rate-limits, or blocks messages when a sender crosses your rules. Instead of relying on brittle content-based spam filters, it focuses on identity and behavior: who is emailing you, how often, and whether you ever replied. You can instantly cut off a single vendor without unsubscribing from everything or risking missing legitimate receipts and account alerts. Setup is realistic: connect Gmail/Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 via OAuth, generate aliases, and apply policies. It’s not magic—some spam will still slip through—but it meaningfully reduces inbox noise for people who get targeted constantly.
