InboxLedger is a web + desktop companion that converts your email inbox into a lightweight, accountable task ledger without pretending to replace your project manager. It connects to Gmail/Outlook, scans for commitments ("can you", "please review", "due by"), and proposes a short list of actionable items with suggested due dates and owners. Each item is tracked as a “ledger entry” tied to the original thread, so you can’t lose context. It nudges you with a daily 5-minute “close the books” routine: confirm what’s done, what’s waiting, and what’s overdue. It also generates one-click follow-ups (“Just checking in—still on track for Friday?”) and a weekly digest you can forward to your manager or clients. It’s intentionally narrow: email-to-actions, follow-ups, and accountability—no sprawling features that bloat and get ignored.
