INCICompass is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) that helps shoppers decode K-beauty and J-beauty ingredient lists fast—especially when packaging is in Korean/Japanese or uses unfamiliar ingredient naming. You scan a product label or paste an online ingredient list, and the app translates, normalizes INCI names, flags common irritants/allergens, and explains what each ingredient typically does (hydration, exfoliation, barrier support, etc.). It also warns about known conflicts (e.g., strong acids + compromised barrier) and helps you compare two products side-by-side with a simple “similarity” and “risk” view. This is an AI + traditional app: AI handles OCR/translation and ingredient summarization; traditional logic handles rules, allergen flags, and user preferences. Monetization is realistic: freemium scans with a paid tier for unlimited scans, routine compatibility checks, and saved profiles.
