INCIWatch is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) that helps shoppers quickly avoid skincare, haircare, and personal-care products that trigger their specific issues—acne, eczema, fragrance sensitivity, fungal acne, or contact dermatitis. You scan a barcode in-store or paste an online product link; the app parses the ingredient list (INCI), flags likely irritants based on your profile, and suggests safer alternatives available at nearby retailers or major e-commerce sites. It also tracks what you used and how your skin reacted, so recommendations improve over time. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional rules and dermatology-backed ingredient logic for reliability, plus AI to normalize messy ingredient lists, match dupes, and summarize “why this is risky for you” in plain language. It’s not a miracle cure—just a practical decision tool for everyday shopping.
