IncotermIQ

IncotermIQ is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps small importers/exporters and freight forwarders prevent costly misunderstandings around Incoterms, responsibilities, and landed-cost ownership. Users enter a deal’s basics (origin/destination, mode, seller/buyer roles, insurance intent, payment terms), then the app generates a clear responsibility matrix: who pays freight, who handles export/import clearance, who bears risk at each handoff, and what documents are typically required. It also produces a one-page “deal brief” that can be shared with counterparties and attached to purchase orders. This is an AI + traditional app: AI drafts plain-language explanations and flags ambiguous clauses, but the core logic is rules-based and auditable. It’s not a full TMS or customs platform; it’s a lightweight pre-shipment clarity tool that reduces disputes, delays, and surprise invoices.
