IndiePulse is a web + mobile app that helps players discover truly under-the-radar indie games using signals that storefronts and social feeds don’t surface well. It tracks early traction across Steam wishlists (where available), itch.io trends, small creator coverage (YouTube/Twitch), Discord growth, and patch cadence to identify “rising” games before they hit mainstream lists. Users can follow genres, mechanics (roguelite deckbuilder, cozy farming, boomer shooter), and specific creators, then get a weekly shortlist with plain-English reasons: what’s new, why it’s trending, and what similar games it resembles. It also includes a lightweight “trust layer” that flags asset flips, suspicious review patterns, and abandoned projects using transparent heuristics. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI summarizes signals and generates concise, verifiable briefs, while the core value is the data aggregation and ranking.
