InfraPulse
InfraPulse is a web app (with optional mobile field companion) that helps urban planners and developers quickly estimate how a proposed project will stress local infrastructure—water, sewer, stormwater, power, and road capacity—using publicly available datasets and lightweight engineering heuristics. Users drop a site polygon, select a development program (units, FAR, land use), and the app generates a “strain report” with red/yellow/green flags, confidence levels, and the specific data sources used. It won’t replace full engineering studies; it’s a fast pre-feasibility and early planning tool to avoid wasting months on proposals that will be rejected or become cost bombs. The app also supports scenario comparisons (e.g., 200 units vs 120 units) and exports a one-page PDF for internal review or pre-application meetings. It’s an AI-assisted app: AI summarizes constraints and drafts plain-language explanations, but calculations remain transparent and auditable.
