InkEdition

InkEdition is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for printmakers to manage the unglamorous but essential admin of editioning: numbering, proofs, states, inventory, certificates of authenticity, and sales history. You create a “plate/stone/screen” record, then generate an edition plan (e.g., 25 + 3 AP + 2 PP), and the app produces a clean ledger for each impression with status (printed, drying, signed, sold, consigned, returned). It also generates COAs and packing slips, and keeps a buyer/collector log so you don’t accidentally sell the same number twice or lose track of where consigned work went. This is not a creative tool; it’s a studio operations tool. It will feel boring—until you’ve saved yourself from a costly editioning mistake or a gallery reconciliation nightmare.
