InterconX
InterconX is a web app (with optional tablet-friendly field view) that helps distribution utilities and DER developers pre-screen interconnection requests using a standardized, auditable workflow. It ingests feeder hosting capacity maps (where available), basic circuit metadata, and applicant-provided inverter settings to run rule-based checks (e.g., voltage rise, thermal headroom, protection flags) and produce a clear pass/needs-study decision with rationale. An AI copilot summarizes missing data, drafts applicant questions, and turns engineering notes into a consistent report, but it does not “decide” outcomes. The app focuses on reducing cycle time and rework: versioned assumptions, templated study scopes, and a single place to track emails, documents, and approvals. Realistically, it won’t replace full power-flow studies; it just makes the front-end triage faster, more consistent, and easier to audit.
