InvasiveID

InvasiveID is a mobile + web app that helps field users quickly identify and report invasive reptiles and amphibians (e.g., Burmese pythons, cane toads, red-eared sliders) to the right local agency or conservation group. Users snap a photo, the app suggests likely species with confidence, then guides a structured report: location, habitat type, size estimate, behavior, and optional follow-up contact. It works offline in the field, queues submissions, and syncs later. On the web dashboard, partner orgs can triage reports, de-duplicate sightings, and export data to GIS tools. This is an AI + traditional app: AI assists identification and quality checks, while the workflow, routing, and data integrity are the real product. Monetization is realistic via B2B subscriptions for municipalities, parks, NGOs, and pest-control contractors; the consumer app stays free to drive coverage.
