InvasiveIQ
InvasiveIQ is a mobile + web app that helps landowners, hikers, and volunteer groups identify and report invasive plants and fungi with enough evidence for agencies to act. The app guides users to take the right photos (leaf, stem, habitat, underside, spore surface), captures GPS, and generates a confidence-ranked ID with lookalike warnings. It then auto-fills the correct local reporting form (state/province, park system, or conservation org) and packages a clean report with photos, coordinates, and notes. A lightweight dashboard lets partner organizations triage incoming reports, request follow-up photos, and export to GIS. This is not a “pretty plant ID” toy; it’s built for actionable, verifiable sightings and reduces the back-and-forth that makes most citizen reports unusable.
