InvasivePulse
InvasivePulse is a mobile + web app that helps land managers detect and respond to invasive species before they tip local ecosystems out of balance. Users (rangers, volunteers, farmers, anglers) submit geo-tagged sightings with photos, basic habitat context, and optional abundance estimates. The system prioritizes reports using an AI-assisted triage model that flags likely invasives, duplicates, and high-risk locations (near waterways, trailheads, disturbed sites). A lightweight verification workflow lets trusted reviewers (agency staff, local experts) confirm or reject sightings, creating a reliable map rather than a noisy citizen-science feed.
The web dashboard focuses on action: outbreak clusters, spread velocity, and “next best survey” routes for limited field time. It also generates simple, shareable incident briefs for internal teams and local stakeholders. Realistically, it won’t replace professional surveys or lab confirmation; it’s a coordination and early-warning layer that reduces time-to-awareness. Revenue comes from subscriptions for municipalities, conservation NGOs, and private land trusts, with a free tier for public reporting to keep data flowing.
