InventoryMint is a mobile + web app that helps renters build a defensible home inventory for renters insurance before a loss happens. Users walk room-to-room and capture short video “sweeps”; the app auto-extracts items, brands, and approximate values, then generates a timestamped, shareable inventory packet (PDF + structured list) that can be sent to insurers or stored for later. It also stores receipts, serial numbers, and warranty docs, and nudges users quarterly to update high-churn categories (electronics, bikes, jewelry). This is not a claims-filing app; it’s a pre-claim evidence builder designed to reduce claim friction and underpayment. Realistically, the biggest hurdle in renters insurance claims is documentation—people don’t have it. InventoryMint focuses on making documentation fast, organized, and credible without requiring users to be insurance experts.
