InvoiceCarbon

InvoiceCarbon is a web app (with optional mobile receipt capture) that calculates Scope 3 emissions from what companies already have: invoices, purchase orders, and expense exports. Users connect QuickBooks/Xero/NetSuite or upload PDFs/CSVs; the app extracts vendor, category, quantity, and spend, then maps purchases to emissions factors (e.g., DEFRA/EPA/EXIOBASE) with confidence scores. It produces an audit trail: source document links, factor versioning, assumptions, and change logs—so sustainability teams can defend numbers instead of arguing about spreadsheets. It also flags the “top 20” suppliers/categories driving emissions, suggests data requests to improve accuracy, and exports to common reporting formats (CDP/ESG dashboards). This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI handles document parsing and categorization, while the accounting-grade ledger and auditability are traditional software.
