IoTPolicyMap
IoTPolicyMap is a web app (with an optional lightweight desktop agent) that helps small and mid-sized organizations discover IoT devices, classify them, and enforce practical network access policies without buying a full-blown NAC suite. It scans subnets, fingerprints devices using passive traffic and common service probes, then generates “least-privilege” segmentation rules (VLAN/ACL suggestions) for supported firewalls and switches. The app continuously monitors for drift: new devices, MAC randomization changes, firmware version shifts, and unexpected outbound connections. It also provides a simple risk score and a compliance-friendly audit log showing what changed, when, and who approved it. This is not magic: it won’t perfectly identify every device model, and it can’t secure devices you can’t isolate. But it can drastically reduce the blast radius of insecure cameras, printers, HVAC controllers, and lab equipment.
