IPLeaseGuard
IPLeaseGuard is a web app (with an optional lightweight desktop agent) that continuously audits IPv4/IPv6 address usage across DHCP, DNS, and network scans to catch duplicate IPs, stale reservations, shadow subnets, and “mystery” devices. It connects to common DHCP/DNS platforms (where possible) and falls back to safe, scheduled scanning when APIs aren’t available. The app builds a single source of truth for IP-to-MAC-to-hostname mappings, flags anomalies, and generates actionable tickets with evidence (last seen, switch port if available, DHCP logs). It’s not a full IPAM replacement—those are crowded and expensive—but a focused “conflict and drift detector” that can be deployed quickly in messy real-world networks. An AI-assisted assistant helps summarize incidents and suggest likely root causes, but the core value is deterministic detection and alerting.
