IRBReady

IRBReady is a web app (with optional desktop add-on) that helps researchers and study teams catch common ethics and compliance gaps before submitting to an IRB/REC. It provides structured, institution-configurable checklists for human subjects research: consent language completeness, risk/benefit clarity, recruitment fairness, data minimization, retention schedules, de-identification plans, vulnerable population safeguards, and protocol-consent consistency. The AI component can flag mismatches and missing elements by comparing uploaded protocol, consent forms, and recruitment materials, then generates a “fix list” with suggested edits and citations to relevant guidance (e.g., Common Rule sections, GDPR principles) without pretending to be legal advice. It also produces a clean submission packet summary for reviewers and tracks version history so teams can show what changed and why. This is not a magic compliance button; it’s a pragmatic preflight tool to reduce avoidable back-and-forth.
