IRScope
IRScope is a desktop app (with optional mobile companion) that helps audio engineers and content creators measure and manage room acoustics using impulse responses (IRs). It guides users through a practical measurement workflow: play calibrated sweeps, record via an audio interface or phone mic, then compute IR, RT60, frequency response, and early reflection metrics. It also includes a simple “treatment planner” that suggests where to place panels/bass traps based on measured problems, plus before/after comparisons to prove improvements. This is not magic: phone microphones and untreated rooms limit accuracy, and the app will clearly label confidence levels and recommend an interface + measurement mic for reliable results. The value is speed, clarity, and repeatable documentation—especially for small studios that can’t justify hiring an acoustician for every change.
