IslandSync

IslandSync is a web + mobile operations app for distributed generation sites (solar + storage + gensets) that struggle during grid outages and transitions to island mode. It connects to existing controllers (where possible) and provides a single, practical runbook: outage detection, step-by-step islanding checklist, live status of critical loads, and post-event reporting. It’s not a fancy “digital twin”—it focuses on the ugly reality: inconsistent vendor dashboards, missing alarms, and operators who only touch the system during emergencies. The MVP can start with manual inputs + simple integrations (Modbus/TCP gateways, CSV exports) and still deliver value by standardizing procedures, documenting events, and reducing downtime. Over time, it can add AI-assisted incident summaries and anomaly flagging from time-series data, but it remains operations-first rather than research-grade forecasting.
