ISPReceipt

ISPReceipt is a mobile + web app that continuously runs lightweight, opt-in connectivity tests to detect likely net-neutrality violations (throttling, traffic shaping, or selective degradation) across apps and protocols. It compares your results against nearby users on the same ISP, time-of-day baselines, and known public endpoints, then generates a plain-English “evidence packet” you can submit to your ISP, state AG, or regulator. The app focuses on defensible methodology: repeatable tests, clear confidence scoring, and transparent raw logs. It also includes a privacy-first mode that avoids capturing content—only performance metadata. Realistically, it won’t “prove” intent; it will provide credible, structured evidence that saves users hours of arguing with support and helps journalists/advocacy groups spot patterns. Monetization is via a low-cost Pro tier for scheduled tests, export formats, and team dashboards for newsrooms/nonprofits.
