IssuePulse is a web app that connects to your Substack (via email + link tracking) and shows real engagement beyond vanity open rates. It tracks which links get clicked, how far readers scroll on the hosted post, and which topics consistently drive upgrades or churn. It also runs lightweight, privacy-conscious micro-surveys embedded at the end of posts to capture “why did you read/skip?” feedback without sending people to external forms. The dashboard turns each issue into a performance report: strongest sections, drop-off points, best-performing headlines, and which audience segments reacted. It’s not a magic growth machine—most newsletters plateau because distribution is hard—but it will help creators stop guessing and iterate faster on content that converts. Works best for writers publishing at least weekly and selling paid tiers.
