JamProof

JamProof is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) that focuses on one thing: trustworthy, fast traffic updates for commuters in a single metro area at a time. Instead of trying to beat Google Maps/Waze at global routing, it verifies incidents (crashes, lane closures, police activity, stalled vehicles, debris) using multi-source confirmation: user reports, public DOT feeds, and sensor/camera metadata where available. Reports get a visible “confidence score” and expire aggressively unless reconfirmed. Users can subscribe to a corridor (e.g., “I-95 northbound between Exits 10–20”) and receive only high-confidence alerts with an estimated impact window. The app also supports “commute watchlists” and silent-mode notifications that trigger only when delay thresholds are crossed. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps validate, deduplicate, and rank alerts, but humans still provide the ground truth.
