JatiBridge
JatiBridge is a mobile + web app that helps institutions and individuals verify caste/community claims for legitimate, consent-based use cases (scholarships, admissions, hiring compliance, marriage profiles), without exposing sensitive details publicly. Users submit documents (caste certificate, community letters, gazette records) and complete an identity check; the app returns a cryptographic “verification badge” and a minimal disclosure report (verified/unverified, issuing authority, date, region). It also flags common fraud patterns (tampered PDFs, mismatched names, reused certificate numbers) and provides an audit trail for organizations. This is not a social network or a caste directory; it’s a verification and compliance tool. Realistically, adoption will be strongest where verification is already required but currently manual, slow, and corruption-prone. The product must be built with strict privacy, consent, and legal review to avoid harm.
