JewelComps is a web + mobile app that gives realistic price guidance for pre-owned and vintage jewelry by aggregating sold comps (not listings) and normalizing them for condition, brand, metal purity, stone specs, and setting style. Sellers and small dealers can scan a piece (photos + a short form), then get a pricing band with confidence level, plus a suggested listing price for different channels (local sale, consignment, online marketplace). The app also generates a plain-English disclosure sheet (repairs, sizing, treatments, missing hallmarks) to reduce returns and disputes. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps extract attributes from photos and messy descriptions, but the product is grounded in verifiable sales data and conservative valuation logic. It won’t magically “authenticate” everything; it will help users avoid overpaying and overpriced listings.
