JITGate

JITGate is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams bot) that brokers just-in-time cloud access across AWS, Azure, and GCP without forcing a full IAM rip-and-replace. Engineers request time-bound access to a role/group; approvers see the exact permissions, blast radius, and live context (ticket link, environment, data sensitivity) before approving. Once approved, JITGate issues short-lived credentials, enforces session constraints (MFA, IP/device, time window), and records an immutable “access receipt” containing who approved what, why, and what was actually done. It also auto-revokes access and flags suspicious use (e.g., privilege escalation attempts, access outside change window). Reality check: you’ll fight incumbents and integration complexity, so the MVP should focus on one cloud (AWS) plus one workflow (break-glass + elevated role) and win on auditability and speed.
