K9Chain

K9Chain is a mobile + web app for police and military K9 units to document deployments and evidence/incident “finds” with a defensible chain-of-custody timeline. Handlers can start a deployment, capture GPS track, timestamps, and standardized event markers (alert, indication, find, handoff) in seconds, even offline. Supervisors get a web dashboard to review logs, attach photos/video, add witness/scene notes, and generate court-ready PDFs with audit trails. The app focuses on reducing paperwork errors and credibility attacks by making records consistent, time-stamped, and tamper-evident. It’s not trying to replace existing RMS/CAD; it exports clean summaries and attachments that can be uploaded to whatever system the agency already uses.
