KasherCoach

KasherCoach is a mobile + web app that guides users through practical kashering and kitchen setup tasks with clear, halachically-grounded checklists. Instead of trying to be a universal “kashrut authority,” it focuses on reducing mistakes: what to do for countertops, sinks, ovens, dishwashers, utensils, and common Pesach prep scenarios. Users select their community baseline (e.g., OU-style mainstream, specific rabbinic guidance packs) and the app generates a tailored plan with timers, required materials, and “stop points” where you must confirm details (material type, heat source, prior use). It includes photo capture for your own records and optional “ask a local rabbi” handoff via shareable summaries. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps interpret user-entered context and produce a structured plan, but all guidance is constrained to vetted rule sets and sources to avoid hallucinated halacha.
