KeyLease

KeyLease is a web app (with optional CLI) that automates safe rotation of cloud access keys and secrets across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Most teams know they should rotate credentials, but they don’t because it’s risky, time-consuming, and can break running services. KeyLease connects to your cloud accounts, discovers long-lived credentials (IAM access keys, service principals, API tokens, CI/CD secrets), maps where they’re used (GitHub Actions, Terraform, Kubernetes, serverless, apps), and executes a staged rotation plan with verification and rollback. It creates short-lived replacements, updates dependent systems, runs health checks, and only then disables old keys. It also produces audit-ready evidence (who rotated what, when, and where it was updated). This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps identify secret usage patterns in repos/configs and suggests safe rotation sequences, but the core is deterministic automation and approvals.
