KeyShare

KeyShare is a desktop + web admin app (traditional app with a small AI assist) that helps teams and individuals split high-value secrets (seed phrases, root keys, recovery codes) using Shamir’s Secret Sharing and store the shares with clear, auditable custody rules. The product focuses on operational reality: people lose access, employees leave, and “put it in a password manager” isn’t enough for crown-jewel keys. Users define a threshold policy (e.g., 3-of-5), assign shares to custodians, and generate printable QR/PDF shares with tamper-evident metadata and rotation reminders. Recovery is guided and logged: the app verifies share integrity, reconstructs the secret locally, and produces a one-time export. AI is used only for policy setup guidance and risk checks (e.g., warning about bad custodian choices), not for handling secrets. This is not a magic security solution; it’s a practical workflow tool for key custody.
