KibbleSplit is a mobile + web app that tracks shared pet-supply spending and automates fair reimbursements. You create a “pet household,” add members (roommates, partners, pet sitters), and log purchases by scanning receipts or importing email receipts from major retailers. The app categorizes items (food, litter, meds, toys), applies custom split rules (50/50, by income, by pet, or “who used it”), and produces a running balance. It can nudge people when supplies are low, but the core value is eliminating awkward money conversations and missed reimbursements. This is a traditional app with light AI: receipt parsing, item classification, and duplicate detection. Monetization is straightforward: freemium with limits (households/receipt imports) and a paid tier for unlimited households, exportable reports, and automatic payment reminders. Realistically, it’s not a unicorn—just a solid, niche utility people will actually pay for if it saves friction.
