KidCue

KidCue is a mobile + web app that gives parents fast, practical guidance on kids’ TV episodes and movies—without requiring them to watch first. Instead of vague age ratings, it provides scene-level notes (scary moments, bullying, romance, language, grief, medical themes), plus “conversation starters” and suggested skip timestamps. Parents can build profiles per child (age, sensitivities, bedtime rules) and get a simple green/yellow/red fit score per title and per episode. The app also supports shared co-parent settings and quick links to where the content is streaming. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps draft summaries and flags likely sensitive content, but human moderation and community upvotes keep it trustworthy. The goal isn’t to replace parental judgment—just to reduce the time and anxiety of choosing something that won’t backfire.
