KidShift

KidShift is a mobile + web app that fixes the most common nanny/babysitter chaos: scheduling, handoffs, and last‑minute changes. Parents post recurring needs (school pickup, evenings, date nights) and invite their trusted sitters/nannies into a shared calendar with clear rules: pay rate, overtime, pickup permissions, and emergency contacts. Sitters can accept/decline shifts, propose swaps, and log arrival/departure with a simple check-in. Each shift includes a lightweight “handoff note” template (meals, meds, screen time limits, bedtime) so expectations are consistent without long texts. The app also generates a weekly summary (hours worked, reimbursements, notes) to reduce disputes. This is not a marketplace; it’s a coordination layer for families who already have caregivers, which avoids the hardest trust/acquisition problem while still being valuable.
