KidSousChef is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that helps parents cook with kids without chaos. It turns any recipe into a short, kid-friendly “station plan” (wash, mix, measure, assemble) with age-appropriate tasks, timers, and safety callouts. The app uses the phone camera to confirm key steps (e.g., “is the oven set to 350?” “is the cutting board stable?”) and to estimate portion sizes for simple ingredients, but it does not pretend to be perfect—parents must approve each stage. A built-in “mess budget” mode suggests lower-mess alternatives and pre-prep steps. It also generates a weekly “skills ladder” (pouring, cracking eggs, measuring) so kids build competence over time, not just complete recipes. Monetization is a subscription for guided packs and printable station cards, plus a small marketplace for kid-safe tools.
