KilnQueue is a web + mobile app for pottery studios to manage kiln scheduling, firing logs, and customer billing without spreadsheets, sticky notes, or endless texts. Studio members request firing slots (bisque/glaze, cone, hold, special instructions), and staff approve, batch loads, and get an auto-generated load sheet. Each piece gets a QR label so staff can scan check-in/check-out, record defects, and attach photos for disputes. The app tracks kiln maintenance, element hours, and alerts when parts are due—because downtime kills revenue. It also calculates firing fees by shelf space, weight, or flat rate, then invoices members automatically. This is not glamorous; it’s operational software that reduces mistakes, improves throughput, and makes studios look professional. MVP focuses on scheduling + scanning + basic billing; integrations (Square/Stripe, membership tools) come next.
