KinCapsule is a mobile + web app that helps families preserve meaningful memories through guided, low-effort prompts and lightweight recording. Each week, it sends one short question tailored to a family member’s age and role (grandparent, parent, teen), encouraging a 60–120 second audio or video reply. The app auto-transcribes, tags people/places, and builds a searchable “family timeline” that’s easy to browse at holidays or after someone passes away. It also supports private sharing circles (e.g., “Kids only,” “All cousins,” “Caregiver group”) and simple legacy export so users aren’t locked in. This is not a social network; it’s a private archive with gentle nudges and a clean interface. Monetization is straightforward: subscription for storage, transcription, and premium exports/printed keepsakes.
