KindLens

KindLens is a mobile AI + traditional app that helps users reduce body-image spirals by turning vague self-criticism into trackable, challengeable thoughts. Instead of “love your body” platitudes, it uses short, structured check-ins: what triggered the thought, what you assumed, what evidence supports/contradicts it, and what a fairer statement would be. Users can optionally log outfit photos privately (on-device by default) and tag contexts (work, gym, dating, social media) to spot patterns without chasing “progress pics.” The app includes a library of therapist-informed micro-exercises (2–5 minutes) and a “comparison detox” mode that blocks/limits selected apps during high-risk windows. It’s realistic: it won’t promise confidence overnight, but it will help users build a repeatable skill for interrupting shame loops and reducing avoidance behaviors.
