KinVault is a mobile + web app for families to securely organize the practical parts of a legacy: wills, insurance policies, property deeds, account lists, medical directives, funeral wishes, and key contacts—alongside short audio/video stories that give context. It’s built for the messy reality that most families don’t have anything centralized until there’s a crisis. The app guides a “Legacy Checklist” by life stage, supports shared access with role-based permissions (spouse, adult child, executor), and includes an emergency mode that reveals critical info when a verified death/incapacity event occurs. It’s not trying to replace lawyers or estate planners; it’s the missing operational layer that makes their work usable when it matters. Monetization is subscription per family with optional paid onboarding help.
