KitchenSplit is a mobile + web app that helps observant households and renters set up and maintain a kosher kitchen with minimal confusion. Users map their kitchen (sink, counters, oven, dishwasher, storage) and choose their minhag and level of observance. The app generates a practical setup plan: what needs separate meat/dairy, what can be shared with procedures, and which items require labeling, kashering, or replacement. It includes a “what did this touch?” incident workflow for common slip-ups (spoon in wrong pot, hot tray on counter, dishwasher mix-ups) that produces a step-by-step response checklist and a summary you can share with your rabbi. It also provides printable labels, shopping lists for color-coded tools, and reminders for seasonal kashering (Pesach, etc.). This is not a psak engine; it’s an organized, customizable playbook.
