KitSnap
KitSnap is a mobile AI app for construction-toy owners who’ve lost track of what they own, what’s missing, and what’s already built. You take 3–6 photos of a pile, a partially built model, or a completed build. The app identifies the set (when possible), estimates what pieces are present, and generates a “missing likely parts” list with confidence scores. It then creates a clean inventory record, links to replacement-part sources, and lets you track which bins those parts live in. This is not magic: accuracy will be imperfect, especially with mixed brands, off-brand parts, poor lighting, or heavily worn pieces. The MVP focuses on a few popular systems first (e.g., LEGO-like bricks) and expands via user feedback loops and optional manual corrections. It’s a time-saver, not a flawless verifier.
